Like Churchill - I feel a sense of validation when hated, and as it doesn’t bother me in the least, it’s more of a blessing than a curse - and adds to the enjoyment.

Of course, it helps that MANY more people like me than hate me.  (Infact all but one).

Not to say that I go looking for fights, but when I see abuse/harassment, I’m going to stand in it’s way. And yea, my sense of humor can rub people the wrong way… lol.  Oh well.

Why he would like a place where this happens is for the simple reason that sometimes its fun to go to the zoo just to watch the chimps freak out and fling poo and everything.

Well I went ahead an imported a disc despite the enormous file size claim and it came in when complete at the normal size. However it took about three times as long as anything I’ve ripped before.

Plenty of HD space. Robust equipment. 2.0 GHz P4 family Processor. 2GB Ram. 48x DVD burning drive. Drive works great. Pretty sure it is narrowed down to a software problem.

I found a thread on iLounge where a few folks mentioned slower ripping since moving to the newest iTunes 7.0.2 or something.

This is just a big  :? I call this a “It doesn’t not work,” problem. It isn’t broken but  it isn’t correct either.

I just know if you take different numbers the problem gets too deep… So A can never argue why he has 50…

2 Kannibals can paddle… And 2 kannabals don’t eat each other… And 1 can paddle across, so both miss and Kan. Not leaving the boat is not implied, 2 kannibals and 1 miss is just eating :D So if 2 kan are across and the miss is still in the boat he still got eaten…

By the way, 2 miss can’t converse 1 kannibal… The is no bridge where they can all move together… There is no leak in the boat… I think you get it now…

Thanks for noticing the pre-print version of the paper.  Its only 5 pages and surprisingly not too terribly difficult to follow.  From the article:

How does information get out of a black hole? My work with Hartle[8] showed the radiation could be thought of as
tunnelling out from inside the black hole. It was therefore not unreasonable to suppose that it could carry information
out of the black hole. This explains how a black hole can form and then give out the information about what is inside

Hawking basically states this is a unitary process by what isn’t observed in other quantum effects…i.e. the decay of baryons.  I’m not sure if that is really proof or just a strong indication however.
