Hi Captain
Yes the Allies would be threatening Economic Victory soon. The activation of the Neutrals would prove a deciding factor.
As of Early 1946 with the Islands added in it would be
Axis 113
Allies 160
So not quite yet.
I have a set of rules for reducing the luck involved in this game, i was wondering if there were any other rule sets out there for doing the same thing?
Here is what i use:
Combat averaging:
In combat all units roll 2 dice, each hit represents half of a hit. Half hits carry over from round to round.
At the end of a combat if a half hit remains it is rounded up.
If one side retreats the other sides half hit (if any) is rounded down.
In anti-air fire if a half hit is left on the attacking air units it will force an air unit to be removed the first time that there are an odd number of hits in the regular combat. (AA generates 3 hits, destroy one fighter and on the first round of combat 7 hits kills 3 infantry and the odd hit adds with the odd AA hit to kill a fighter).
In strategic bombardment the half hit will destroy the bomber but after the bomber rolls a die for strategic bombardment.
Better use LL, players who have never tried this would be surprised by how much luck there is in A&A.
LL games are sometimes won by luck, not by skills……!
