Bonus income from NOs is income, so it must also be collected.

The transport dies, whether or not the sub submerges.

The important thing to understand about the defenseless transport rule is that it’s basically there to keep you from having to roll round after round of dice when the outcome is inevitable. The Soviet fighter would eventually hit the transport if the battle continued. It’s just a matter of time.

Approximately half of the U-Boat losses were due to Aircraft.

However in this version of Axis and Allies subs may not be hit by aircraft without an attacking destroyer present. Axis and Allies is not a very accurate recreation of WWII. However, it is a fun game.

what do you mean with “keep”?
Note that if a sub chooses to submerge, it cannot attack or defend either.

I think I will use an old Xeno piece for the China Fig to distinguish it apart.
