Analyse the new map and IPC income

It’s an attractive game board though. I’ve seen some of the original AA boards and they were hideous. I think it serves the purpose of getting people into the series well. We’ve added D-Day to the game list. The games get very heated and the players are very competitive, this last game was sort of a buzz kill because it was over in only 3 rounds and seemed too easy, I was convinced we must have been doing a lot of things wrong, and I think I’ve realized all of those things now. =)

Does a monopoly game have enought 10s 5s 1s and 20s to work for A&A?

That’s what I’m worried about doing, Bunnies. I got the feeling that once I start going into some detail that I’ll just keep going on and turn every question on plane movement into a lecture.

I’ve been thinking about leaving some stuf out all together, notably, strategic bombing. It just feels like something I can leave out for less confusion that isn’t a game-killer by not being there. I think the sub surprise attack and plane movement will be the hardest to fully explain so they understand.
One thing I just remembered was how hard it was to distinguish between some of the naval units when I first started playing. I have a picture printed out that someone made that helps with that, but that’s just one more thing to add to the confusion.

The more I think about it, the more I think I need to get with at least one of the guys and teach him a little. One - to help me out, and two - to make it so I’m only teaching two or three guys instead of four.

Thanks for posting those maps for us. The AA42 map is inadaquite  and I want to print out a larger one. I guess I will print on paper and stick to poster board, uless I find a better material for it.

yes my signature has some files most of the others are in house rules.

If a export the pdf file to a jpg file, it is a very large picture
and POSTERIZA software doesn’t opens it to cut in many A4 sheets!
Anyone have a AA42 map in jpg format to cut and print?

yes the solution is not to ruin it by destroying 100% vector artwork by jpeg.

The second problem is not using that program you got.

Just take the PDF and manually print it out by moving the artwork in the preview window from left to right from top to bottom.

Or get a real Canon printer and set it on poster setting so it will do it for you.
