Those are some pretty cool ideas, I’ve thought about incorporating marines and how to do so-your ideas seem good. I also like the idea of interceptors at 2, more realistic and makes you think about SBR more. Although I’m not so sure about reducing air bases costs and increasing their ability to scramble to nearby land-seems OP.

Has everyone read the house rules by Larrson @ http://hem.bredband.net/triathlon/HouseRulesAA50.pdf
I think the optional 6 rules for each power are great and reflect each powers strengths. I do think Japans battleship rules are a bit too strong though.
What does everyone else think about using these rules? maybe roll a D6 at the start of the game and get one power? Or use them all?
It’d be great to hear your thoughts on this…

if even larry thinks that heavy bombers are op, why aren’t his optional rules for it the regular rules?
or why not:
Heavy Bombers = roll two dice at 3 (instead of at 4)
