How to play Triple A as AA50

Try this site - in the Play Boardgames section.  (Or looking for games, there are a couple places).  Like he said, ABattlemap has Classic.  I haven’t played Classic online yet, but would probably be willing to, so I’m sure there are others…

i was going to make a similar russian national advantage for A&A 50 for russia

Scorched Earth:
The Russian player may decide to, in combonation with normal defense, assign units to scorch earth. The defending units roll to hit normaly, at their attack value instead of defense, allocating hits against the territory itself. For each successful hit reduce the IPC value of the territory by 1 during the next collect income phase.

Example, germany attacks Ukrane with 6 tanks, there are only three defending russian infantry, they stand little chance, so two are assigned to scorch earth……the other defends normaly. They roll a 2 for defense and a 1 and a 5 for scorched earth. The germans lose a tank, and during their collect income phase the Germans only get one for Ukrane instead of two

Can you believe that I don’t think you really mean what you’re saying?

If the bid needed to balance AA50 41 is more than revised, then you would win almost every game, there is no one who will play revised w/o bids.

Personally I’d like to win every game I play, but you don’t like to win  :roll:

If you really are serious with this, you also think that all the other PBF players on aa.org would like to lose all the games they play against you, b/c they play allies w/o bids?

I’m close to accusing you of trolling……

There is a thread in the Find Players and Game Discussion section for people looking for AA50 games.

Another thing that may have happened is too much other activities(island hopping, naval building, teching), and not enough “boots on the ground” grunts heading to the key victory locations.

Yes, I built a factory in India and Australia. The Japs went for Australia first but I was able to delay them with two of my destroyers so that Aussies could build two infantry before they could get there. Added to the already 3 you have plus the artillery, the AA gun, and an American fighter and bomber that landed there. Since he was after the Aussies this gave time for the Indian Factory to build 3 Armor plus the 3 infantry, 1 Artillery, and AA gun that are already there. I was going to send my South African troops to help in Egypt but, by this time the Axis was already losing in North Africa and I sent them to India. I considered building a factory in Canada to avoid the German Air power when I built 1 or two ships near the UK when my fleet was in the Med. In the end I didn’t but it would have been nice to have. There should be the ability to build in all of these areas from the beginning. Looking at the '42 scenerio it looks very hard to build a factory in India without losing it right away.
