Has anyone made a victory city tracker for AA42 similar to this:  http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/308716/axis-allies?size=large  from the Revised game but using the AA42 color scheme and 2 victory conditions? I would try it but I do not have the programs to do such a chart. Thanks.

Id say that the axis, despite being down…26, give or take, do not need extra IPCs, though it wouldnt totally unbalance the game if they did. They just half to take advantage of things like the british being so spread out.

Therefore Saltz, keep that in mind in your strategies.  Always, I MEAN ALWAYS, have enough infantry fodder to bring to battle.  This is an economic war as much as anything.  If you keep losing tanks and planes on hits because you don’t have enough ‘fodder infantry’ to throw to the wolves you will surely lose your battles.  Unless of course your opponent’s buys are the same as yours.

Hey, there’s an idea.  Have a war with no infantry or artillery.  See how that works out.  Might be fun, never know.

Yes I am an FNG but still - looking around and just reading some threads more or less at random - this place seems to be stagnant with something wavering between indifference and dogma.

Well, it seems to me if you are going to kling to the same basic game (axis and allies) then not much can be done to send fresh air in. Just how much new stuff could be done…like start trek, they have been there and done that…many times over!

Actually it wasn’t the game I thought needed “fresh air” but this place.

is this a differnt game than the aa50 anniverisary edition.  the aa50 game i bought came with 41 & 42 versions.

It’s a revision to the revised or re-revised!  New sculpts, new units, new map!
