Japanese IC in Manchuria

You are correct,

Welcome to the forums Merlin!  My brother, a work friend and I played a game this weekend.  We started at 9am and went on till 6pm!  The game did manage to finish with Axis getting 16 Victory cities.  Our games usually take a long time because we do not get to play often, so my brothers and cousins go at a slower pace.  If you get to play more frequently, people will fall into their groove and the game should start flowing faster.  Good luck with the next game!

I think they are considered originally Chinese for game balance issues.

If they were originally Chinese, then Russia cannot capture them for income or to give England the NO for an allied controlled orange territory.

Likewise, if Japan puts an IC or AA in these territories, and later loses it to the allies, they become virtually useless.  This also prevents the allies from taking it, building there and fighting against the Japanese.

Basically, making them Chinese territories makes life a lot easier on Japan.

Every fighter has to have a way to land, whether you think it will be shot down or not. If you can’t come up with a way for it to land, it can’t attack.

I can’t imagine a topic worth discussing, in any section, that isn’t going to verge on a house rule at some point. Besides the current House Rules is section is all over the place anyway, and rather hard to navigate, since stuff gets dumped their from all over the rest of the site.

The British better get another one. 3 ICs makes Russia stronger than in any previous A&A game.
