I have a expansion set in my closet that I bought in probably '94-'96 that starts around '40 and has rules for how and when Russia and US enter the war. When Germany takes France, you roll a die to determine whether French territories + troops are either Vichy or Free French, and whether the French Navy is Vichy, Free or scuttled. ( I think the Free French are played by the UK). Haven’t played it in years. I think it was by Xeno Games and called “The World at War”. Also had destroyers and some other cool changes.
Helpful thoughts for new players!

I was racking my brain this morning running all the attacks that Russia could make R1 and came across this helpful little trick. I play in triplea and it has what is called a battle calculator. I needed a way to find out quick if Germany could counter quickly and wipe Russia aside. So what did was to counter up all of the forces east of Germany and I included Norway and two other additional units I then put them in the battle calculator and then I put all the forces of west of Russia and in Russia to see who won the battle. If Russia would win you could buy some offense, if they would lose you had to buy inf. I just thought it was helpful. Take care all!

If you look around the forums, someone designed a battle calculator for Anniversary Edition.
However, this is the Revised forum, so if you are playing revised, may I recommend AACalc at Frood?

Yes, not 1941 and 1942.
