The best monopoly house rule I ever played with is when you roll the dice, to take the result and have your choice of moving either forwards or backwards. However, if you pass go in the backwards direction, you pay the bank $200. Trust me, this rule makes an otherwise boring game interesting if you have a choice of two spaces where you can go with each dice roll.

German rockets in WWII had no military value except maybe for the allies. The resources the germans wasted on rockets would have been better used on more conventional military hardware. Their rockets were nothing more than terrorist weapons. If it makes the game more enjoyable for you to have a German NA for rockets then have at it.

Thats right. To me, the multiple collect income causes inflation.
Yes collecting income before combat does stop this.

Regarding the essay on a pad that can be reduced. For example in AARHE the Axis/Allies sequence makes. Its not 4 turns between Russia 1 and Russia 2. So you don’t have to hire an accountant to keep track of things even if we collect income before combat.
