AA50 Rulebook PDF & FAQ Now Available

In the process of moving Lozmoid, and I’m cutting down on the huge amount of games and music equipment I have.

I would stick with 2 dice (or maybe 2@3). This pick best is just ridiculous. Seriously, the more and more errata (and “FAQ” - lol) they add, the worse the game becomes.

I like AA50 better.  We actually succeeded with a Kill Japan First strategy in the 1941 scenario, which I didn’t initially think was possible, which made for an exciting pacific game, for once.  I love the inclusion of Italy, and the way research is conducted means that people buy it and inevitably a couple players will get technologies, which makes every game different.

AA50 is a sight better than Revised in my opinion, and is worth the money.  I can’t think of any changes from Revised to AA50 that I wouldn’t consider an improvement.

so the game should go for how many rounds? 6, 7, 8?

no way was a maus worth that many tigers! it may have had an awesome gun and armour, but it was one heavy beast. and slow too! it was so heavy that it couldn’t travel over conventional bridges!

…and it got me thinking. There a lot of people that would like to see an even amount of attention to both the theaters of war, and I realize that the NOs are now an effort along with VCs to encourage such play… Im just wondering, wouldnt VPs be a great way to force the allies to spread their efforts in multiple directions instead of the standard KGF?
You could do VPs for the axis or allies as a group, OR you could do it as individuals - so if japan gets too large (left alone), it can win the game by itself so to speak… same goes for japan, they cant focus ALL their efforts on the charge to moscow, as the usa could steal all the VPs from the pacific…

Just thinking out loud mostly ;)
