Hi, I like the concept about the dice very much, BUT do make the dice not so square as in the picture, I like them with more round edges. Like now with AA50, I did threw the dice away, and replaced them with some normal dice. :-D I like them as Chessex has them.

This big logo carves away a lot more material than some tiny pips, so the dice will be heavyer on the opposite side. I guess the logo side will be face up more times than face down. Am I correct ?

They are perfectly balanced. The one pip is missing and the logo is silk screened. The factory we used makes dice for all sorts of companies… even BIG ones.
They are balanced. The picture has no bearing on the weight.
These Dice Are High Quality. Much Better Than AA50’s Dice. Once You Use Them Once You Will Never Want To Play With Your Old Dice Again.
Thats right. the colors are also most impressive because they match perfectly. It seems like its something that should be in the game as standard and when you use them you feel like you got a complete game.

I also registered just so I could post on this thread. Faction specific dice will look so good with the individual faction boxes that come with AA50! :-D
For the AA gun dice on the #2 side, there should be a couple of radar dished, if possible, for the radar tech. The other four sides I think should look like a standard die, for tradition, and saving money and production time. you could have tiny explosions and stuff, but I think that’s too ornate for AA dice.
If the #1 side comes down to either a bomber or fighter, I’d say bomber, since it’s the primary target and reason for having an AA gun unit in the first place.
Maybe it could be a combination, like a P-38, which is a fighter, but look like a bomber, or a Stuka (typo?), which is a “fighter-bomber”, or maybe that’s just a stupid idea. :| Generic AA gun dice ought to have generic fighters and/or bombers-unless…you have 12 faction specific AA gun dice (6 different fighters and 6 different bombers)! :-o But that’s going to far. With those ideas, I’ll have FMG bankrupt. Besides, AA guns are gray and not faction specific in nature. Just as they can be captured and used by different factions, the dice ought to be generic and usable by all.
ITALY and CHINA dice will be ready in about a month. production delays have set us back.
We will be putting all future COMBAT DICE designs on hold for awhile as we are now working on the Pieces project.
