Russia starts with all twenty infantry on the board.  This is actually less than they start with in MB’s 2nd edition.

As for China, it was neutral but pro U.S. - a mechanic which was dropped from A&A.  I can’t say why, you’d have to ask Larry.

I think he meant 3 arm & 3 inf(24 IPCs as compared to his 41 IPCs purchase above.)

My advice, fight the Eastern Front to contain the Russians outside of Eastern Europe, forcing them to choose between defending between Karelia or Ukraine if you need those 3 extra IPCs to end the game. Use the rest of those forces to protect WE and Africa. Remember a D-Day can ruin the Axis attempts at an EV. I’m interested in hearing your calculations on how to do it.

Ha, in A&A, I took over Russia with Germany on the second turn! Ending up EV winning on the 4th, since the Japanese (AI controlled) player couldn’t figure how to attack on the first turn.

I don’t care about any changes as long as they benefit Great Britain. That’s my favorite country :smile:
