Ok if i was you i would get at least 5 transports and you can have at the least 2 men or 1 tank or 1 man and 1 tank or 1 man and 1 artillary in a single transport. Anyway you need Russia to pressure Germany in the following places: Belorussia, West Russia, Norway. Also make the UK pressure with only bombing raids the following place: Western Europe. Then while Germany is being attacked in the east and west, you will use your transports and send them to Algeria and Libya. After you take those 2 places and build up those 2 places, BE SURE TO DO THIS, as fast as you can push every single thing (from Algeria and Libya)  to Southern Europe. Then tell UK player to stop bombing raids and buy rockets and steal money from German factorys. Then in at the max of 3 turns there will be no more Germans. Ihave done this strategy 7 or 8 times and every time it was succsesful except once. So try that strategy um… hope if works for you. I sent a pm to rjclayton a few days ago when this first started happening for us, informing him of the error.  He seemed to be one of the folks most closely associated with TripleA based on some of his posts.  I don’t know if he was the right person or not, but I haven’t heard anything back.

I do have to agree, working the summary manually has been pretty easy, but I think there’s a bit more controls in place if it’s all done in one step.  Not an issue for your average game, but if things get crazy competitive it’s something that might be nice to have for game admins/judges.

I have, but what I haven’t figured out yet is whether or not the game was already “in the bag” for the axis before that point.  Still fairly inexperienced at this Revised stuff…

Uhm, all the National Advantages out of the box rules? (As in no special modifications like the Larry Harris Tournament Rules or house rules) would be INCREDIBLY over powering for the allies.

You might want to get the LHTR (Larry Harris) from DAAK.de or Flames of Europe, etc and use those NAs.  Or another good option is to roll a die twice for each nation, the number that comes up is the NA you get (re-roll if you roll the same thing twice in a row) and then let the Axis pick 2 NAs each (Out of the Box versions, 1 if Larry Harris) to kinda even the game out.

A good bid to counter that is 12-15 IPCs in units for the Axis (either LHTR or Out Of Box.)

Let us know how it goes.  I find the NAs add a lot of dynamic flavor tot he game.

and this is where we all start to argue…. ahh just depends on your opponents… i won’t go into detail… but if you are playing a long game i would suggest buying men early 10 men 2 tanks for the first few (one or 2) rounds…great long term game…  but deviate if you can…
