Your question is a bit tough to understand.  Are you saying which country is friendliest to the US as a nation, or to tourist visiting, or which do American like most… :?

    not tourist visiting.

which one do you prefer the most both personally (culturaly) politicaly

I think I like Aussies most from that list, although I do know some pretty cool Canadians, I think Ausies are most like Americans Culturaly.

  • Considering the similarities between the US and Australia in terms of how we came into being and the people that went to both places, the similarities should be pretty strong.

I am surprised that no one marked Canada yet though.  I personally would put them third on the list (but we only get 2).  And the main reason I do not rate them higher is Quebec.

  • And now the countries that are furthest (fartest sounds a bit silly, dunnow the right word) away from the States.
Iran ftw! Ow and North-Korea ofcourse.

But I don’t get the question, the purpose of the question, nor why Poland (coughrocketshieldcough) isn’t in the list…

  • Mmmm… Canada and Australia are both monarchies, and the queen is Elizabeth II. USA is a republic, and have its own chief of state, so there is a big difference. I was amazed when I discovered Canada and Australia had not their own chief of state. I don’t like monarchy, but at least we Spanish have our own king, and a good one, I must add.

I was thinking in when he saved Spanish democracy in 23-F (1981) coup of state, but this other also is good  :-D

  • I called “Canada” as one of them.  I have extensively travelled both nations, and aside from the money and the stereotypes, there is much that is interchangeable about them.
From Language to Media to Food to Shopping to City development to Education, there are many similarities.  These two have a massive trading relationship - one of the greatest pair for years.  We have the longest shared border in the world with remarkably few problems about it (at least very few reported problems or disputes).
The take on our politics is real in fact, however in practice we have a lot of similarities.  Despite the fact that Queen Elizabeth (and by proxy the Governor General) is our head-of-state, the GG is actually handpicked by the Prime Minister who serves with much the same responsibilities and power as the President of the US.  Our Parliament functions much as the US House of Rep’s, and we have a Senate which is a weak shadow of the US Senate.
With the exception of Quebec, we both subscribe to the common-law system (as opposed to the civil law).
Finally our cultures are nearly identical.  Americans are utterly unable to discern between American and Canadian comics, actors, musicians and are buying more and more into our television shows, movies, and music - as we have bought into American culture for decades.  We also have similar enjoyment of many of the same sports teams with both US and Canadian hockey, baseball and basketball teams in the same leagues.
