Convoy and subs withdraw

The info given about the fleet only apply to AAR, not Europe. Subs are immune to AF without a destroyer present. With the presence of destroyers, subs lose first strike, nothing else.

Yes, “most, sometimes, maybe, long-shot” doesn’t cut it. This game should make players want to play both sides just for a change. Though I always choose Axis, perhaps I’ll start playing as the Allies as I’d like to win a few…

After you submerge your subs, they have to be resurfaced at the end of your turn. Now if there are enemy ships in the zone, on their turn they can either engage or simply move. Kinda of like when you build new naval units. You can place them in an occupied sea zone, then on your opponents turn, He can attack or move away.

The rule book answers that question. Subs can be sunk at any time they just chose to run instead of fight back after being fired upon

Yes, a sub moving through a convoy zone is like a tank blitzing an open territory and then into a battle.

i’m sorry to say this has to be one of the dumbest questions i have read so far. if a sub has no defense to air planes how in the he!! are they going to attack land. and no torpedos don’t fly. and no there were no ballistic missile subs at the time.

No, it has to suffer a shot from the battleship. If it survives, it can submerge, but why would you?
