I went when I was really young. I think I mainly visited resorts and amusement parks.
Kosovo, Kosovo…
-
i now its a little bit political
but i would say its more historical and of great social importance
was just reading today the report of a Serbian journalist from a rally in Belgrade
The Serbs want stand a ground, they just weigh how much Russia will go this time, in supporting them, and from what i ve seen Russia has been playing really smart in this game, by pulling back a little in a crucial moments and then jumping in again firmly in defence of Serbian Kosovo
i personally think Russia will test its strength and power here to maximum level, Russia has nothing to loose, and will be able to see how tall does She stands Geopoliticaly, Geostrategicaly ( Military ) , in short how much power does Russia truly has
Restless days for Balkans, thats for sure…again :| :? :x

Does Russia have a military presense there (serbia) or in the region?

@JWW:
Does Russia have a military presense there (serbia) or in the region?
for the time being not, but in the near future it plans to build bases in both Serbia and Republika Srpska( a part of Bosnia and Hercegovina)
and Serbia is the key country linkin west and east, east and west. Does not have Sea now, while Montenegro has become an independent country, but Russians control almost every major enterprise there. Russia was always interested in Montenegro, since it lacks of warm sea entrances, and Montenegro has just that what Russia so desperately need-warm sea entrance. But with Serbia the connections are even bigger, not just political, much more, historical and cultural, they think much alike in many important stuff
a few years ago the ex-leader of Serbian Radical Party-the strongest party in the parlament, suggested a State Union with Russia and Belorussia. As far as i know Russia and Belorussia are in that union even today. So with that plan Serbia would stay and independent country but with tie links with Russia, that how even in the constitution
he is in the Hague tribunal now, his name is Vojislav Šešelj
and the Kosovo base as far as i know is the biggest NATO base in the many km around, and according to NATO plans they plan to settle them for a long, a very long time…they ve decided that Serbia wont stop in their way
as much as i was surprised with all the aid is coming to Serbia, political-Russia, China, Spain
i was much more surprised with USAs clearly pro-independent Kosovo position
USA has never done this, as far as i know, supported and independ pro movement like this
much is at stake here, both USA and Russia along with the rest of the world knows it
and Baskian leaders said they plan to pronounce independence soon
Abhazia and South Osetia too have some plans
Transdnistria, Northern Cyprus, Korzika, Balochistan, Khuzestan, Sri Lanka-Tamil Tigers, Palestine-ok Palestine is specific, but this issue will cause deep divisions in the UN and the internationaly comunity thats for sure
Kosovo( Serbia ) is once again in the middle of world tensions
WWI was caused by Serbians just to note
several years before WWI the fall of Otoman Empire was something Serbia was involved very much
so, i do not try to live in history, but it( history) helps us think more widely, since we learn something about others( nations, cultures, people)…

Putin does indeed have an opportunity here to move Europe back toward a pretty significant Cold War here. And it could get ugly FAST…
