Cuba is omitted because the US holds an open ended lease for complete jurisdiction and control of Guantanamo Bay and Cuban authorities have absolutely no jurisdiction on the premises. It is for all intents and purposes, American soil. Furthermore, the US and Cuba have no diplomatic relations. So, if anything it is actually more of an occupation than a legit overseas military installation.

I consider AA50 to be old.  I am not sure why we making comparisons to two older boards, revised and aa50.

I am talking about global, 1942, and 1941. Have you seen the allies in those boards? They are boring.

yea, logistics are the backbone of any military. and generals will tell you “amateurs talk tactics, professionals talk logistics”, but all told, it only takes a general to manage logistics because of the specialized nature of the military. otherwise, anyone with those kind of planning and organizational skills could do it.

definately basketball. Fast, lots of lead changes, spectacular moves (mainly dunks and assists), not so long time outs and pauses -> just thrilling.

the only thing that sucks about it is the late game free throw orgy when the game is close. Foul, FT, foul, FT just within a few seconds.

but for sure a lot better than “gimme some midfield passes for about 20 minutes coz were leading 1:0” - soccer

why would you buy a tank first turn?
if you have an extra $5 first turn as Japan, then buy tech or an inf or two.
