Anyone wana play a game???

If you’re going to use the US as your trading country, then make sure you have a good transport system in place. Get a 4x4 going on. Four transports from Ecan to UK, and UK to EEU (preferably) or Kar. And buy a fighter EVERY round so you can fly it to Russia. Do the same with the UK. Buy a fighter every round and fly it to Russia. Get a good fighter cover going, have Russia buy infantry out the wazoo (and an armour every now and then) and continually wear Germany down.

Thats 366 pieces so about .64 cents each piece. Thats not including shipping, but still a great deal.

I have seen them on ebay in the last few days. Search for “axis and allies japan” to narrow the search to about 20, then look at the seller’s other items to find the rest of what you want. Otherwise you’ll wade through  about 1500 to 2000 items. “Revised” may just bring up the entire game.

I think my main suggestion was a small bid for the Allies, and then it is a 5 turn max game (Axis wins in 5, or they lose)

Or just add an INF to India.  That should be enough to make 8 VC a bit harder for the Axis…

But that was not 9 VC as counted for game victory.

Sure, the Axis REACHED 9 VC at the end of G’s turn, but then lost a VC to UK in the same turn, then a capital VC to the US in the same turn.

Since VC’s are counted at the end of the turn, that was only 7 VC’s axis, with the capital los being critical.

You count the VC’s after US’s turn.  And, if at that time, the Axis have 9, you might as well hang it up because it means that they totally control Europe and Asia, and Germany gets to build again (probably with $45 or more since they hold all their starting VC’s plus at least Leningrad).  So even if the Allies are poised to strike, Germany gets to reconfigure, redeploy, and place lots of new units before the Allies get another swipe at the Axis
