PC ver 1.3.3 error question

Hello all,
at first sorry for my english, because I am from Czech republic. I have problem with my Axis and Allies game. I have played about 65 rounds now and in this time game typing error message something as “LOG file is full” and is impossible to continue with playing game. If I choose Load Game and click on saved game, the game starts as New game (on start). Folder with save games (Autosave and my 1 save) has about 50 MB. Thanky you for help !! thank you very much.

Attacking US w/Jpn looks great on paper, but in real time and turns, stalls the taking of Rus.  With every passing turn, the Allied economic advantage will make them stronger in arms.

So true.  Attacking the US (except for China & Sinkiang) is a BAD move.

Japan is the nation that can turn the economic tide in favor of the Axis in short order.  By focusing on a steady assault on Russia using a Japan transport fleet (using a fleet instead of an IC is faster, more flexible, and helps keep the US “honest” since those forces can reach AK in a single move) combined with a modest roving south pacific/indian ocean fleet, Japan can quickly be the leading IPC nation in the game.  In games I have played, it is not unusual for Japan to be in the 40’s for IPC’s by the end of round 2.

A Japan with more IPC’s than the US (down to 32 at most), with UK weakened (low 20’s or teens depending on Germany in Africa) and Russia in the teens or less after losing the eastern territories, the economic winds favor the Axis.

Then it only is a matter of Japan playing smart 9since they have most of the IPC’s) to crush Russia, saving the Germans, and then turning on the US while bombing the tar out of UK…

darkangel, in all three of your strategy articles, you’ve overstated the value of purchasing fighters for defense. I suppose if you’re going to spend your money purchasing a sub fleet for air defense, it probably doesn’t matter what else you’re spending on, you’re already screwed

Ah true. But you are thinking of it in the broad spectrum of the war in general. There are tons of movies out there about both theaters of war. The thing is, most movies about Europe cover the war there in general (not necessarily the entire war, but large chunks of it covering many battles). Movies about the Pacific usually focus on one or two, maybe three specific battles. Therefore, because Europe is given a wider span of battles, it always seems like the Pacific is left out, when in truth movies about the Pacific are a lot more specific to a certain battle or two.

I did once and highly regretted it. Japan had attacked India, taken it, lost it taken it back…etc. They called on Germany (I, conqueror of Africa) to help and I took it myself w/ 2 ARM. Unfortunately, Japan chose not to reinforce me and the USSR took India back. Japan took India AGAIN and begged me to land a FTR for defense and I did. They promptly moved OUT and left my precious FTR to die alone. Needless to say I never played alongside this guy again–at least while he was Japan.
