Memorial for 9/11

I join you in the condolence and in the respect for their memory.
Each one of them has been a grievous loss for their family.
Remembering them is important.

Eternal rest give unto them, O Lord
And let perpetual light shine upon them

And let us not forget the brave men from United 93 who overcame their fear, and rose up to stop the last aircraft.

Its going to be exactly 6 years ago in about an hours time.

Like GG said……put politics aside…and take a moment to think about all the people that perished that day.  People who never go to see their wives/husbands again, whom never go to be with other family members and friends again.  Its the kind of stuff that people who are still alive take for granted.

May they rest in peace.

Today we pray

it reminds us of who we are going to have to fight for the next couple of decades.

pray for condolences for the families and for the faithfully departed.

It’s a phrase that came from the book Catch 22.  Basically it describes a situation in which someone is unable to control because of a paradox.  I have no idea if balung used it properly.

Yesterday in class, the teacher was saying some stuff, and all the students started talking about how we should pull out of iraq! It pissed me off cuase if we pull out now, they’ll just build back up and bomb us again, and may even succeed in destroying the white house and another pentigon incident. the US’s moral is at a all time low, I swear !  :x

He didn’t.

In the book, an airforce bomber pilot wants to be grounded.  The only way he can make that happen is to get an afidavid saying he is mentaly unfit to fly.  The problem is the airforce has determined that his desire to be grounded proves he is mentaly stable, because you would have to be insane to want to fly combat missions.  So any one who wants to fly missions can get voluntarily pulled off flight duty by making a simple request.  -  Catch 22
