I guess it was before you became a regular here on the boards. I just joined and he disappeared a little while later. Him and Switch used to go at it in the A&A Revised boards. I guarantee that if you go back and look at old topics there you will find more than a few :lol:

Hell, I disappear for weeks sometimes, when our commanders finally figure something out for us to do. :-P Basically, we wake up, do PT, and then dick around for the rest of the day!
They say we don’t need training time since we ourselves are trainers, but I’m like wtf? We are going to Iraq soon, lets get some more combat training in! I’m going to forget how to fire my Rifle!

Yes, I did just become a lawyer. I’m not having issues, though I was a little sick of the PD forums and in particular the constant anti-liberal raving of one individual poster.
Also, this board was taking too much of my life, so maybe I needed a break. There were renovations and landscaping to be done, and just being outside.
Being a 1st year lawyer is great actually at my firm (http://gangegoodmanfrench.ca, recent facelift to the site by myself) . They are really laid back - for the summer, everyone gets Friday afternoon off. I also get 4 weeks vacation on top of that, and full medical/dental/massage etc. benefits. The pay is pretty low compared to other cities at $45,000 but it goes up quickly but also in this city I can afford a 2000 square foot character home downtown a 20 min. walk from my office. And it’s pretty fulfilling, challenging work but not stressful.
So it’s been a combination of things. Now I’m just getting back into it again - anyone up for a game? Started one with G.D. Fox but he bailed.
And Gamer gets Karma +1 for thinking of me…

Well, Mr. Frood, you are one of the more enlightened souls around this place (which is like saying you are the smartest member of the Bush adminsitration, but I digress . . .). Anyway, your whitty ripostes in PD and elsewhere made them more worth reading. Now, we have you, but no PD!!! I am sure you will find some other outlet for that whit.
As for a game, sure, why not? In fact, if you and CC are game, maybe I can drag my doubles partner, Mateo, into a “fun” match while we are waiting to start our tournament match. Let me know if you are game and if so, I’ll check with Mateo.
