I started this summer with a starter pack. Then I bought some boosters (39-45), but now I’m buying on Ebay.
This way you combine your own army,depending on the side you want to play.
Yeah I posted on the Avalon Hill site that the search was broken. I too searched on Tank Destroyer and found nothing. But if your “Search” with no criteria it shows everything which is good at least.
Additionally, if you download the scenarios that you’ll find at www.axisandallies.com, they’ll actually list suggested units for you. It makes quick, pick-up games much easier to get started.
A&A Miniatures are close to 15mm models, like other wargames out there (not to be confused with 25 and 28mm famous from games like Confrontation and Warhammer). So they’re much bigger than the boardgame pieces.
We usually play the 3 wide x 2 deep… but we don’t usually have a large enough table for more than that. I prefer the 3 wide because it spreads out the armies and allows more room for flanking.
