2007 AAMC AAR Lieutenant's Tournament - Signups Open!!!

I do agree that beginners should stick to the London factory.  It does require skill pulling off the india IC.  But It just depends on how you and your allies play the game.  If each of you are gonna do your own thing, the game will certainly be over quicker than usual.  Thats the key…… Teamwork and persistance.  Control the game by limiting the enemy of options.  Do this and you’ll win no matter who you are.

I will no longer be Tournament Admin with the completion of the current Tournament, by personal choice (I am resigning).

I sent a pm to rjclayton a few days ago when this first started happening for us, informing him of the error.  He seemed to be one of the folks most closely associated with TripleA based on some of his posts.  I don’t know if he was the right person or not, but I haven’t heard anything back.

I do have to agree, working the summary manually has been pretty easy, but I think there’s a bit more controls in place if it’s all done in one step.  Not an issue for your average game, but if things get crazy competitive it’s something that might be nice to have for game admins/judges.

They are both a good time but watching your buddy spill his tenth beer all over himself while he flips the board in the air after rolling a few 666’s at 3 am can’t be beat!

I was thinking about this the other day and I thought it would be pretty cool just to make the game look nicer.  With AAM: WaS coming out next year, every piece in AAR could be replaced with minis on a board.  Theyll look way better than the regular pieces.  Of course some of the rare miniatures are a bit too large for the regular sized boardgame, but you can fix this problem by making a bigger board at Staples or something.  The only major problem I see is planes, since the War at Sea planes are going to be very small and the AAM planes are fairly large.  Anyways, what do you guys think about it?

Well I went with the East Indies plan. He did not go after my flee, so I had time to build up and attack his. It worked beautifully, but by that time Russia was too far gone. He had so many tanks piled up  on both sides it was too little too late. If only this if only that.

Next time, I’ll have to keep this plan in mind and go for it much earlier. Concentrate on the pacific fleet, and try to keep the UK fleet in play longer, instead of sacrificing it.

What can I say, I was rusty! Next time!
