I’m starting to get a nice little reptuation among Yankee fans. I am actually in the process of switching to a huge network of blogs. Hopefully, my readership will break out of this 700 unique user bubble that I’ve been in for months.

GI- The point of the case is
The parents want to care for her and the husband wants the feeding tube gone. I wrestled with this case for a long time since I don’t think the Government should be involved in these types of decisions. My opinion changed for all the reasons I listed in my original response.

Incidentally, the Law passed by the Florida legislature and signed by gov. Bush bans the “medical procedure” that would have Killed teri. As
fas I know it doesn’t ban euthanasia. I have a problem with euthanasia since it reminds me of the old “Eugenics” laws here in America as well as those of the Third Reich.

The term “Palestine” was invented by the Romans as a means to dishonor the Jews, because they hated them. They wanted to file the Jews and the Arabs together in a land called “Palestine” instead of Israel. You’re quite right, dabaron. “Palestine” was what Emperor Hadrian named Judea (omdern day Israel) after the second revlot against Rome in 135 CE. It came from the extinct nation of the Philistines. Hadrian hoepd that by naming Judea and all its cities after extinct nations, he could eventually make the Jews extinct. He failed.
