Help - INCOME collecting money PROBLEM -

It depends on the outcome of the firswt battle. As a German player, I try to capture Vborg and Leningrad in the first turn to take away lending area for fighters from England. Fighters are better to give to the Russians since they are cheaper, and they help defend agaisnt industrial bombing. If I play as an ally, I send all the initial fighter force to Russia, both British and American. I don’t donate the bombers, as they can help in Operation Torch, and industrial bombing.

You could stop this one of 2 ways:

1. With the $12 you get at the beginning, buy a transport and put it in the Danish Sea and buy artillery with the remaining $4 and put it in Germany (or possibly Finland). If Russia does not put any additional infantry in Leningrad with the Allies’ $12, attack Leningrad on your first turn by transporting 2 infantry and 2 artillery and maybe 1 or 2 fighters (Russia only has 2 infantry to begin with. You should also attack from Poland to Baltic States and Finland to Vyborg. This way you not only take Leningrad but you encircle it and are prepared to counterattack if Russia takes it back. This also prevents the Allies from being able to land fighters in Russia from UK (all 3 of those spaces are exactly 4 zones from UK - everything else is out of reach).

2. Buy a transport with the initial $12 and keep $4. Buy a Battleship & Aircraft Carrier with your remaining money an place them with your 2 transports in the Baltic Sea. (You could combine this with the above strategy as well if you don’t by the artillery). Assuming that you have knocked out all of the UK’s navy surrounding the UK mainland, UK can only attack your navy with their bomber and 2 - fighters on their first turn. That would be gamble for them, considering your battleship can take 2 hits and defends at a 4, the carrier defends at a 3 and the 2 tranports can be used as fodder. Assuming your carrier survives, land 2 fighters on it next round (and add more navy if you’d like) and you have a decent-strength navy in the area for UK and US to have to unseat. Having a strong navy here also gives you the flexibility to invade UK depending on the circumstances.

Here’s what you do. First you need to make something resembling a threat. Move high concentrations of troops into Turkestan, and leave a small force in Mocow. Slow the Germans by Placing 2 or 3 troops in every territory between them and Moscow. When they attack into say Bellorussia, counter attack with everything capable in the area, except for anything from Turkestan or Moscow. When they finnally arrive, you should have a sizeable force in Turkestan and Moscow. When he gets ready to attack, assuming you still have you bomber, threaten him/her. The turn before, spend every cent and keep you bomber alive. Tell him that any money he will make by advancing into Moscow, he will most surely loose because of a Strat boming on Germany. And that even if he/she did manage to take Moscow, you will send every unit into Moscow to retake it. The turn before this happens however, move the AA gun out of Moscow. It’s falling is Pre ordaned, so this will seem like a standard manuvere. Here’s the trick. Have Britain land it’s bomber/bombers in Turkestan(there is a path from UK to Turkestan, trust me) and patriot act them into the RED-ARMY. On your turn for invading Moscow, Strat bomb with 2-3 bombers and and destroy their winnings. Moscow will completely open for Strat-Bombings, no AA-gun, and no legely landed fighters will be present. This will leave SOV alive for 2-4 turns more. Chances are Germany won’t have been heavily re-enforcing it’s land capabiliteis, and would have probably focused more on naval and African matters, believing that SOV was doomed. With the loss in finances you created, and the disruption in supply lines, this should give the allies some breathing room. For now on, place as much inf as you can in moscow and Archangel. Take back weakly defended german-occupied territories, and use scare tactics every time you attack somewhere. Keep reminding German player that They lost the war when they lost Moscow, and this should demoralize the greman player to a hefty extent. Insults, bribery, and meatgrinders often insure victory.

xxstefanx, this move frees your med fleet for the atlantic theater.
There are three difficulties:

It is a horrible feeling losing one or two fighters. One is the average. :cry: The destroyer has to move with the btls to gibraltar. The UK may land fighters here after a 2 fig 1 bomb attack on a lone btls Malta has to be taken. With only one transport and without any bombardment this is a tight fight. Should it be lost the trans will be sunk.

Solution? Spend 20 ipc for 1 trans 1 des on T1, skip malta, take Gibraltar and have a turbo supply tube of 1 des 2 trans which this lonely, pesky fighter cannot attack.

The loss of the US convoys is not that terrible, together they are only worth ten (25% of US total income)
The game is not unbalanced if the allies are coordinated and work together.
