Two Rules Questions

Just wish I could afford to buy more for Germany.
  I playtested a strat in the on-line gaming on the TripleA site where I defended Western Europe and bought an IC there on G2. The whole purpose of the IC in western Europe was to place subs in the 3 adjacent sea zones as needed! Specifically to keep UK from loading up troops and going into the Baltic to invade. It also played havoc in the western Med for allied shipping there as well.
Really competant allied players, with a great amount of patience usually overcame this expensive defensive strat. But others were so frustrated by it, that they usually capitulated by turn 7 or 8.  :-D

Spend like crazy!

Two exceptions:

1.  Sometimes, you need to go pure defense with Russsia.  When doing so, if you have 17 IPC, you spend 15 to get 5 infantry, and save 2 IPC.  Next turn, with another 17 IPC income, you will have 19 IPC, allowing you to get 6 infantry.

2.  Sometimes, you want to be able to switch fronts with the US.  So you don’t spend a lot first turn, then second turn, you commit to either Atlantic or Pacific.  (If you do spend in the Atlantic on US1, it takes TWO turns to sail to the Pacific, and vice versa).

In general, it is not a good idea to save.

OK, UK would not be liberating it FROM the Russians, it would be FOR them.

On the turn that UK liberates Caucuses, the UK cannot land their FIGs there.  However, later in the same turn, the United States CAN land FIGs there.

The restriction is that to land a FIG in a territory, the territory MUST have been controlled by you or one of your allies at the begining of YOUR turn.

To get a clarification:

You can bridge YOUR TRN and YOUR Troops (1 pt for TRN to load 1 pt. for TRN to unload) without moving the TRN provided the unit in question has the movement pts available for doing so (like Mech Infantry or Tanks?).

I’m not sure how this is handled with LHTR.

You can bridge INF too.

But no unit can move on land before or after being transported.

Just the way the rules have been in this game, going all the way back to 1st Edition, about 25 years ago.

You amphib in, and your other forces are supporting it… you all either live or die trying.
