@SuperbattleshipYamato well it was alot different back when we allowed Politics to flourish. Mary and Jennifer used to get into great battles, then we had Sexual Harassment Panda, Mr. Smith, et al who posted like 30 times a day. I recall about 3 others who were nasty but eventually drifted off under a rock.
Which Browser do you use?
-
This is important for the redesign. I need to know what browsers I need to support.
-
Let the browser war begin! :D

I installed IE 6.x on one of my machines and absolutely regretted it. It kept bringing windows to the front when they loaded, and for a seasoned surfer (and Java web developer who uses browsers extensively for work), who likes to load multiple pages at the same time, it quickly got VERY VERY annoying. I didn’t bother “upgrading” on any of my other machines. Think I’ll stay with 5.x for now…

I hate netscape…damn who would waste their time installing it?
Microsoft IE all the way! -
Wow! How close-minded of a comment is that? Have you even tried installing Netscape 7.0? It has skins, like winamp, does IE have skins?
BTW, I use both IE and Netscape depending on the purpose. At work I use Netscape for work-related sites and IE for personal stuff. This way if somebody comes into my cubicle and we need to look something up when I click the Netscape window it won’t be a website about games or something. :-)
-
netscape conflicts with all the computers i use "(a lot.)
so i might be stupid, but not close minded.
-
Oh. You didn’t say that before. Oh well.
-
Yeah, the netscape browser we use at school isn’t exactly picture perfect compared to the IE one. 8)
-
Go IE :)
-
NETSCAPE :D
netscape 4 is the best netscape!(last one thats not that bugy)
-
IE all the way!!!
-
Oh man, IE 6 definetely has my vote on this one.
Netscape is slower than dirt, and it’s incompatibility problems make me want to scream!
-
Lindows! :)
-
Haha! Lindows?!
That takes the best features of both operating systems, melds them together, and fails miserably in the entire process.
-
I’m using AWeb on an Amiga 3000 running AmigaOS 3.9 so it seems I’m the only one who voted for “Other”. If you’re really curious, check out http://os.amiga.com/.
Keep your IE and Netscape… AWeb all the way!
Seriously though, stick to the W3C standards and everyone will be much happier in the long run. Customizing a web site for a particular browser misses the entire point of being on the web in the first place.
-
Yes, I’ve read the w3.org accessibility recommendations and I’ll probably follow many of them.
The problem is that some browsers don’t seem to layout tables properly and I just wanted an idea on which browsers to test.
-
Mic IE 4 me!
-
I got netscape 7!
-
Can’t you just look at the sites’ logs?
-
good point!
can u change for what u voted?
