    Germany had a -3 differential and France had a +3 – so, bad rolls for sure.

    Also, you only had 87% odds on the attack; typically, people bring more into France to make sure the dice can’t ruin things. The G1 in Normandy made France riskier than it needed to be.

    I’ve never actually seen someone miss out on France (I haven’t played a ton of games, but never seen it) … so I don’t know how difficult it is to recover from as Germany … but I’m sure it doesn’t help.
