    Half expected you not go for it and instead try and save Malaya at all costs. Cannot judge yet, but I hope it was a phyrric victory for you :-)

    @captainwalker actually… i did not consider survivng really that naval attack on UK fleet… so I did not consider where to land the fighters… i had to land them in Thailand and thought… “ok I have to prepare a defense that really weakens Malaya if he goes for it”
    So to give you sth to consider… I should have sunk the TT in SZ 110 with my Yama ships and land my planes on a carrier in that SZ instead… would have been “cleaner”, but I think the trade off with UK in Thailand was ok for Japans Position … I hope!!


  • @Elrood I think it’s better for the UK to weaken Japan’s offensive capabilities rather than try to hold Malaya. Malaya is going to fall anyway so I’m good with the way it turned out.

  • @Elrood Japan really needs to take the Dutch out R2. They’ll still be able to take that capitol, but it’s going to cost a lot of units now… and it gives Anzac a little more time to build up.
