I do tend to skip scrambles around 75% mark, especially if the net TUV drops.
I skipped the scramble off Australia in sz56, we can reroll it if you decide you wanted to scramble. doesn’t change any of the rest of my US/UK turn if I lose that battle, but it might affect ANZAC.

The battle in sz56 was probably tighter than I should have skipped. Like I said, if I lose those units in rerolling it doesn’t affect the rest of my turn so we can edit them out easy peasy. If it was going to be a big deal to untangle I’d be more cautious on skipping.

Yep, no problem on this non-scramble, fine with the outcome as is.
I’ll also usually consider the net TUV swing as you mentioned. If scrambling makes it worse, 95% of the time I won’t be scrambling, unless there is some specific tactical reason to do so.
Anyways, if you’ve got a criteria you like to abide by, like 75% odds and worse TUV with the scramble to skip it, I’m good with that as well. PTV has a lot of potential scrambles, so anything to make it more efficient.
That being said, I do have a question on Italy’s turn here. Can the UK take Syria with ground and then land their planes there the same turn (ie. attack the fleet in SZ101)? If it’s a no, which I suspect it is, I will want to re-position the fleet a bit. Should not affect Anzac/France turn if you want to go ahead with your next turn.

The formerly French pro-axis neutrals do have a minor rule difference because they’re treated as having been active already (so you can fly planes over them). But just like any other territory including pro-Your Team neutrals, you cant land fighters on them unless they were controlled by your alliance at the start of the turn.
OK, sounds good. So the only exceptions to that are the Dutch islands?

Interesting battle… After a very bad start, I almost won it with a surviving unit, then I didn’t. :)
Wasn’t sure if you would take the scramble. TUV made sense, but I feel like the Russian fighters are possibly the most valuable in the game.
@Booper They are very valuable, I thought it was worth it to kill off your northern force given your buy and fleet position. Losing Norway & Finland always feels horrible to me. But you’re set up well for pressure on both Moscow & Stalingrad so I’m excited to see how this plays out
