  • @dawgoneit Also, you did the Russian turn on the standard Classic module. That is fine, however I recommend using the improved module for Classic called “Classic League”. The improvement is that the game will show you a warning whenever you violate stack limits. This is a rule that is easy overlooked. It can be downloaded via TripleA, by clicking on Download Maps and search for “Classic League”. I believe all other players in this tournament are using that module.

    I suggest you download version 2.7.14971, I use that too and I get the least number of bugs or error messages with it :)

    I took Russia’s first turn using what you had sent earlier. Not classic league but acceptable I believe?


  • @hiijohnson Sorry to intervene again, but you made combat moves as Russia on the first turn. We are playing this tournament with the following rules:

    • Russia Restricted (Russia cannot make combat moves turn 1)

    • All neutrals are impassable

    • No tech until round 4

    • Units can be placed in enemy seas

    Also, the file you posted is a local save file. Doing this is not recommended in tournaments as neither side will get dice roll emails, and then it will be very easy to cheat. So I am afraid you have to redo your turn.

    You can use “Local Game” to do one or more practice turns, but once you are ready to do your turn for real, you need to click on “Play By Email” or “Play By Forum”. To do this, first you need a registered email at the MARTI dice servers. To do this, click on “Play By Email” or “Play By Forum” and then on “Register”.

    If you first do this and let me know which dice email you registered, I can set up you guys’ game.


  • @hiijohnson By the way, it is fine to use the World War II Classic module however downloading the improved one “Classic League” doesn’t cost too much effort. Simply click on “Download Maps” in the main menu, then search for “Classic League” and hit “Install”.

    This is looking better, although you did not upload a save file. If you do the Play By Email method, you need to manually upload the turn summary and the save file.
