just played a practice game with some bots. With this map, I couldn’t build ic, and I couldn’t arm my carriers with planes the turn I built them. I am fine if these are rules of the map; however, I could just be missing something.

Classic does not allow players to place newly purchased fighters on carriers. Nor can you land fighters in a sea zone where a newly purchased carrier is about to be built.
There are four industrial complexes available to be built so I’m not sure why you weren’t able to build any, I will look into it.

The complexes: you need to “unselect” no new complexes in the optional rules before setting up the game.

We don’t have to have 16 exactly. We can use a couple byes.

@The_Good_Captain - you should cut off the signups window whenever you choose.
I believe we’re doing random seeding. If we have byes, some will get an automatic ticket to the 2nd round. Everyone has equal chances.
Since it’s double elimination, maybe it’s not necessary to prevent the 1-2 from 2025 tournament from starting out playing each other. Just thinking ahead. -

I’m squeezing this into my workday, so doing in fits and starts.The list has been randomized, and now I’m getting a proper double elimination bracket from AI and setting it up. For any who can’t wait, the randomized list is in the spreadsheet

I’m limited in knowledge of TripleA errors, though.There is a “GUIDELINES” tab on the spreadsheet which includes which way we are going with some of the Classic rules, for this tournament.

Tournament bracket randomized.
@TinCanoftheSea , @amnykon and I drew byes.
The byes drop down to the losers bracket, so the loser of winner’s bracket 1 will get a bye.
So will the loser of winner’s bracket #4, and the loser of winner’s bracket 8.I inverted the order of players losing 2nd round of the winner’s bracket, otherwise players could be meeting the same player that just beat them, in the loser’s bracket. It would stink to get beat twice, early, by the same player. Inverting it (WB12 - WB9) should fix that. I don’t know, my brain’s scrambled after setting that up.
