No; not in that case.
SBR question
-
Can you use a bomber to do SBR on a territory with an IC and in the same turn take it over with land units? … Or does it have to be one or the other?
-
As far as I know you can do both. The BOM is of course not part of the land battle. You might not want to SBR if it is a capital though you’d be bombing your own money.
-
Yea, I like it as a defensive move. Just pull your AA out so you get to bomb it on the way back in when you are regrouped, plus more than likely they will lose more units than you on your retake. Only drawback is, they can do it to you if they have a bomber handy.

You will have to hold it for a turn to pull out the AA because the AA participated in combat. It is a nice little option to have.
-
Yea you can, but the SBR should be rolled BEFORE the battle. :) Just table ettiquette.

If your’s attacking the capital, you wouldn’t want to SBR, 'cause the IPC’s will be yours after the takeover. If attacking a non-capital IC, go ahead, as it depletes your enemy’s IPC’s.
Both moves are legal, the first just wouldn’t do you any good. :-D
