@the-captain Offhand it looks fascinating, will be anticipating it- been working on my Own Enhanced Expansion House rules for G40 as well, my group has been playtesting it over the YouTube for close to 8 months! For The Allies to be able - to some degree - to replace the severe losses of ships and transports during the early stages of the War, Landing Crafts are a plausible solution.

Though limited in numbers they still pose a serious threat for example to Axis-occupied Europe.

Landing Crafts are cheap, high value transportation means.

In my opinion, the ultimate expression of anti-aircraft cruiser was built too late for the war: the US Navy’s Worcester class cruisers. Six twin-gun 6" turrets, with semi-automatic loading. They were capable of launching 144 rounds a minute at maximum rate of fire (12 rounds / minute per barrel, 12 barrels). Or, put another way, each of those 144 shells weighed 105 to 130 lbs, for a mass of about 7 1/2 tons of steel and explosives launched in the air. Every minute. I mean, when you’re done messing with Kamikazes…

so you see no chance for the axis to win?

i think, the japanese airpower is still a real threat to the us navy. second, small numbers of transport available or nearby to start landing operations for the usa.

in europe, i agree mostly, but i see a big defensive potential in germany. it could stall a lot, couldn´t it?

Germany, Japan and Italy have to be aggressive. While also taking calculation on when to go to war with certain countries. So if you just sit and build without moving, you’re doomed.

Well the U.S. didn’t exactly jump to war with Germany lol.

I was being a little off the cuff with the turn 20 crack.  I could live with turn 4 or 6 also.  Either would simulate a 1942 or 1943 U.S. declaration of war.

Just want to give the Japanese some reason to attack Hawaii like FDR did.  If the Japanese waited until January 42 to attack I be the Arizona would still have been sitting there.
