    If it’s a “map/game option” that you forgot to select at game start, you should be able to select it after a save and it’ll start working at the beginning of the next rd.

    I’ll try and track down Victory’s thread at the other site and check it out. You might be able to have the limits check at turn start instead of end turn.

    Not entirely sure of the rules there. Should be explained in his post.

    Or maybe @VictoryFirst is done with his hiatus and is ready to jump back in :)


  • The dream is that it wouldn’t even be a purchase or placement check, but that there would be a tracker of how many different pieces are on the board, at all times. Even better would be to show the maximum, so a stats bar that says

    7/10 tanks, or 3/3 bombers are currently on the board would be the optimum.
    The cherry on top would be that the engine would even prevent the movement that violates the rule, but just having the feature in there at all like we do now, even with a couple errors, is very nice. Way better than nothing.

    yea that would be nice :)

    You can limit the number of certain units that can be built and I would guess that’s what Victory did. If you try and over purchase it’ll let you know and it won’t wipeout your entire build anymore, which is a big improvement.

    But yea, even though it keeps track, it doesn’t post that information anywhere. Would be a good Feature request. Maybe some code wizard will implement it some day.
    You’d think they could work off of what’s already there, since it knows when you have too many of a certain unit.

    Maybe Victory is spending all his time on his java classes and will bust it out for us in the future :)
