High School Axis & Allies 1941 Club

I would love to introduce A&A at my school. 1941 would more than likely be the best choice. Any ideas or support for helping me make this a reality? I can easily contact my school that’s not the issue. Just thought I should make that part clear. I’m not at the High school yet but will be going there soon. Things like having copies, the supplies is the main issue and how to present it in an interesting manner, a good way to teach it, thing like that is what I need help with… I do have one copy though. I’m in the North-Eastern Ohio area. For those in other countries like Canada, that’s and America place.
Now, I’m not 100% sure this can become a reality but I want to have a plan before I ward to bring it to my school’s attention.

I would search the History here. I remember years ago an Army instructor used it in one of the classes he taught. Think he used the basic 1942 mod.
There were others who proposed, or actually did use it, in a formal setting.Talk to some of the History teachers. Probably your best bet. If they’re not interested, they might know people who are.

heh heh plenty of Americans don’t know where Ohio is either :)
Edit
Ideally the Teacher would be an experienced A&A player. If not though, they could learn along with the class. I believe computers are used more than pen and paper these days but I don’t really know :)If so, and you have a large monitor, you could divide the class in half and use triplea. Give each side like 3 choices to use per turn and let their teammates decide what to do.
If the Teacher isn’t familiar with A&A but is receptive to it as a teaching tool, you could ask members here for their imput on what each sides choices should be.
It can teach computer skills in how to set up triplea, as well as being helpful in History, Geography ( although some maps a little sketch on that ) and problem solving. And it might even be fun lol
Idk of any teachers on here but I’d be surprised if there aren’t some :) You should also check the triplea site history as well.
And if triplea doesn’t work, you need to expand the project in a different direction and have a Huge map printed that everyone can sit around General staff mode lol
Or maybe break into 3 groups 5 a side or whatever. Idk how big classes are these days. They ran about 20-25 half a century ago :)
Just some thoughts. I’m sure others will have better ideas :)
Good Luck
