    Mostly max D, but got to keep 1 DD as long as Germans have significant subs (more than 1).
    Keep 1 CV (damaged but alive) for the first round. Depends on how hard you hit next round if I kill it.

    Kill French and US units of same kind before Brit.

    So for this round damage 3 CV + BB, sink 3 Subs.

    Oh I forgot to post Germany. Sorry about that. I assumed the sub would fight and die in the next round. You might want to vary some of the casualties, perhaps I should have asked before proceeding because it could affect my NCM but probably not.

    At least Germany got better dice next round.


  • @simon33 Ok. Yeah, I really want to vary the losses. I had said I wanted to save a CV, and was interested after seeing what you hit next round.

    You hit 10x. I would choose losses at that point.
    With my remaining forces I would have expected 8-10 hits (I got 7 but I would not know that). Keeping the 3 CVs and killing cruiser + 2 ftrs would have been a losing battle for you to continue.

    Even with the 7 hits I got, you still would have an 10-90 battle to continue if I kept the CVs.

    My point is that I would have kept the CVs.
    Now knowing that, if you want to continue the battle to try and get them. I’m fine with that.
    But I will have 3 tipped CVs, tipped BB, 5 ftrs, 5 trans vs. 2 ftr, 2 tac, tipped BB, 2 sb.

    Re-reading my post. I should have been more precise. But even a very strict interpretation of my statement, I should have at least 1 CV.

    I wasn’t clear on your comments, found them slightly confusing. You said to keep a CV for only 1 round, which I did. I think you probably meant to keep at least 1 CV, so how many CVs do you want to keep? Does that mean I kill some more planes at least?
