Concerning Landingcraft units:
You can use Landingcraft units as cannonfodder - and yes - they can be used as you described above as part of the attack on Egypt.
Important:
Landingcraft units have no Combat value - they cannot attack or defend. If Landingcraft units are the only surviving land units after all enemy units have been destroyed - and the enemy territory is not captured - your Landingcraft units are lost, since Egypt is Enemy Controlled.
This game mechanism is identical to a friendly territory - with friendly Landingcraft units - which is captured by enemy forces.

Following aboves explanation of The Captain, I adjusted my turn accordingly.
Barnee mentioned, that the 2 LMs in Egypt defend against ZS98, I should have rolled for them before the battle.
I did so above and luckily your lMs didn´t hit. Makes adjusting my turn easier! :-)
I removed the remaining LCV and changed the ownership back to UK and added the 2 LMs again.
I withdraw 7 IPC (2 for Egypt + 5 for the NO) from Germanys treasury.
Attached the revised turn version with Russia up!

Yea Hvy Bmbrs can be LendLease as long as they didn’t do anything during Combat on their turn.
Some triplea SZs have ownership in the XML for Blockade Zones and OOB Kamikaze Zones. So you can place the Repair tokens in those. Otherwise you have to be in a SZ that borders a TTy you control.
So yea, just place the token wherever and then edit in the repaired unit at start of CM. The token will disappear on it’s own

Also, I’m not having any luck editing away my ANZAC sea mines in SZ 33. The 3 colored ones are placed but the non-colored ones are giving me transport errors.

@Panzerstahl-Helm @barnee Alright, I got 3 questions before I slam the USSR into the German Southern Army:
I acidentally built 2 of the figther aces (max build of 1). Can I swap it for a tact bomber (same IPCs) or what do I do in this case?
Laying it all out in the battle calculator, I noticed that you @Panzerstahl-Helm have 2 Elite Infantry in West Ukraine (max 1 per state), where would you like this 2nd one edited to?
For rail movements, can I cross friendly boarders? Like can I send (Russian) units from China back to the western USSR? Similarly, can I send UK units from Africa/India to the USSR (Moscow) with their rail capacity too?

How do I best manage army/corps synergies and take casualties in this larger and more complicated combat?
hmm … I din’t think triplea would let you build more than 1 Ftr Ace for SSR. Would you post a save of your test ?
The Rail movement should be enforced correctly. Soviet Rail can only move in original Soviet TTys or the 1 Europe one can move into also.
UK can basically Rail anywhere. Have to have an unbroken line of communication at the start of your turn. Triplea will allow illegal moves after combat and you may occasionally need to use edit if Rail is blocked from a different part of the map where you could make a legal move.
