Oztea's 1942 setup oddities on TripleA
-
So I started playing Oztea’s 1942 Global 1940 setup on TripleA, and I noticed that Japan starts out at war with ANZAC and has occupied the Dutch East Indies, but is not at war with the British.
This wasn’t mentioned in the game’s notes at all, and doesn’t really make much sense given the political situation the game starts with.
Am I missing something in the original rules? Is tihs just an error everybody knows about?
Thank you!

@SuperbattleshipYamato Could you screen shot?

Here (circles drawn by me after screenshotting):
Here’s the file I’ve taken it from:
As you can see, this is an Oztea 1942 game that I haven’t done anything to. If I used edit mode to fake this problem, it would show up in the history. If you downloaded and opened the file, you will find that the history does not contain any evidence of such tampering.

@SuperbattleshipYamato I had to ship off my other computer for repairs so let me download it then I will get back to you. Try re-opening a new one. Or just re-get it.
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato I’m not sure why it shows that. Mine has them at war with each other. I would re get it. What place did you get this from? Make sure you actually get it from the triple a maps.

@SuperbattleshipYamato Wait your onto something. Ah, that’s the U.K. Europe. I would assume this is a mistake. I would just use edit. Not saying that you want to, but if your interested in play a game of his 42 I would be interested in that. If not no worries just throwing it out there.

Thanks! Yeah, this issue is the main reason I haven’t tried 1942 yet.

@SuperbattleshipYamato I have not tried it that much also. It’s pretty fun. Yeah I would just use edit for that.
