I dislike late game A&A because the plane stacks get ridiculous. I realize that’s probably weird but it bugs me for some reason.
I felt like the game is pretty hopeless for Axis after Southern France so I took a big gamble to try and stay in it.
I do agree that the dice were absolutely absurd.
You probably have better vision of what future turns could look like and see how a player of your caliber would turn the screws with Axis and stay in it without the risk, but I am not prescient and have only played maybe a couple dozen games past round 10.
cal lit a draw then? since i could’ve easily won earlier but gave you a second chance, and you’re unwilling to return the favor… so we just call it good? which is too bad as it’s a very good game
I’d definitely be up for compromising a bit on the dice here, I am going to load up LL and see what it looks like for that battle, I think we could edit some German units away if that keeps you piqued

yeah it’s been happening to me a lot actually, it’s really tiring… i work hard on the game with strategy and positioning, and then someone (usually much lower ranked but with good skill) will take a big swing and get super lucky. it’s getitng stupid

i’m not sure why that’s very different from the avg tuv in regular dice battle calc… is the bc buggy for some reason?
I was also keen on the AUR-A stat [my nickname for “Avg Units Remaining - Attacker”]
in the regular dice it shoots up to 17, and obviosuly I got above average on that as well

I believe the edge cases heavily skew the average #s here, as a few sims with brutal AAA dice will throw it super negative

I look much more closely at the units remaining and manually calculate TUV swing based on that, actually- the average can be heavily obfuscated by edge data

i look at that as well, but still doesn’t change that this was an absurd result… and combat hit differential of -20.67 ??? don’t ever recall seeing it that bad wow
Any 50/50 battle is going to be very off the average TUV; for example if I went to the bitter end and you had 10 units remaining (avg units remaining - defender was 15) it would be about a -140 swing
