  • @nikola1975 I just noticed your attack last round in sz 20 - the bomber on 3 transports. I would certainly have scrambled that tac in sz 7 to try to save the transports.

    What’s the etiquette here on how to address?


  • @nikola1975 Looking at the forum, looks like we can use a dicebot. So, our options are:

    1. You can take back that attack (bomber goes back to Hawaii) and transports go back in.

    2. Do a roll with dicebot of your bomber vs my tac.

    Your call of which option - let me know!

    In the meantime, these are rules:

    Carrier Scramble: A carrier may scramble one plane to battles in adjacent sea zones/territories where there is at least one defending surface warship/land unit. No more than three planes may be scrambled from a particular sea zone in this manner. The number of planes that may be scrambled from a sea zone (up to the three-plane maximum) is determined by the number of undamaged carriers in that sea zone (one per carrier). This is true irrespective of how the planes may be allocated among the carriers. For example, if a sea zone contains an American carrier with two planes and a British carrier with no planes, the total number of planes that may be scrambled from that sea zone is two. Damaged carriers are disregarded for purpose of determining the scramble capacity of a sea zone (player enforced).

    No scramble for transports and subs.

    In case you did not know about this rule, I can take it back?


  • Yes, the tactical was on the carrier, not on the airport, so no scrambles. Game engine is not aware of that rule, so it must be followed by players.

    As said, if you did not know about this rule, you can edit the bomber back and return transports.
