Alright guys, let’s see if we can get this in front of Mr. @Matt-Hyra , or Mr. @Larry-Harris-0 themselves.
Greetings, fans and creators! Below is a labor of love 3 years in the making from concept to prototype to many time play tested and proven new Axis and Allies game. Based on the original “Axis and Allies” we all know and love created by Mr. Larry Harris, and using the “Axis and Allies 1942 Second Edition” board and rule set (with some additions and revisions) by Renegade Studios, it is my honor and privilege to present “Axis and Allies: World War 3” for your consideration.
Created using multiple “Axis and Allies” sets (from “Classic,” “1941” and “1942 Second Edition”), rules from “1942 Second Edition” and some from “Axis and Allies Classic,” and incorporating pieces from Milton Bradley’s “Fortress America” for the 3 new units introduced (helicopters, armored personnel carriers, and “Special Forces,” [not pictured in initial set up] which were created using the “NRA” pieces from the above mentioned “Fortress America”), this game can seat 7 players as opposed to 5, and boasts hours of fun “modern day” strategy game play.
The playable nations in this game are:
The Ca.B.AL. (Cartels, Brazil(or BRICS) and Arabic League (led by Iran) ), pictured in black The European Union/N.A.T.O. (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), pictured in gray Russia, pictured in brown and red The United Kingdom (and former U.K. territories), pictured in traditional sand color and blue China, pictured here in an orangish color but later changed to yellow Japan, pictured here in yellow but later changed to the orangish color The United States of America, pictured in (of course), greenI am attaching my full rulebook, intended to be used as a supplement and in addition to the “Axis and Allies 1942 Second Edition” rules, as well as the colloquially known “Axis and Allies Classic” rules governing weapons development and strategic bombing. I am also attaching a picture of my initial setup.
NOTE- In Buryatia and Manchuria, I was attempting to use the “Joint Defense (but no joint attack)” rule and that set up to simulate as much as possible the ongoing Korean conflict, but altered it to present a simpler set up while still maintaining the effect. Set up should proceed as documented in the pages I will attach here.
