    Question, will you rescind the result if I end up winning this game?

    As you bumped me out, you have every right to claim the win here, however I would very much appreciate it. I asked “would you agree to play this game out as a friendly match” as I didn’t know that rescinding results was a thing done by some players.

    The game is not decided yet. It looks scary for the Allies in the Pacific and the Middle East but I see a way out of this. Then it will probably be anybody’s game. It looks very interesting and fun.

    If you are willing to rescind the result, then I’d like to point out a mistake you made this turn. I can destroy the four Japanese transports in SZ 36 with an American bomber. I can land in Kweichow or DNG. That wouldn’t be game-breaking but it would be annoying for you as any significant threat of an invasion of India would be repelled for at least two turns. Then I would be 100% sure I stay in the game. I would allow you to make the necessary changes to your turn if you want.

    Hmm, I guess you can kill those transports and I probably can’t also kill the bomber which does the killing. I don’t like the idea of posting an edit after you telling me this.

    As for rescinding the result, it seems a bit late for that, won’t that affect my ELO from the point of view of the championships?

    @simon33 It’s up to you to make the edit. I understand if you don’t like it, I don’t always like it to do it myself either. However you have my full permission to do it.

    About the ELO, I am not sure. I think I have to call @gamerman01 on this one… Can the result of this game be changed without impacting other stuff?

    Well, no response from gamerman01 unfortunately. I asked him because he was willing to rescind the result in our game, however he didn’t participate this year in any play-offs which might be why he did that.

    Still I don’t think it will make a difference in our situation if it did affect the ELO as the person one tier lower than you in the play-offs, cwglee51, has an ELO of 1332 and yours 1495. That’s a considerable gap, though at the time that gap might have been smaller.

    In any case, it doesn’t really matter. I don’t want to make this a big deal. Let’s just play on and have fun. I will probably do my turn later this evening, if not then tomorrow morning.
