I ask that every game - no one has every let me before. I’m not at all sure if you did or not, but I’m not. The DD buy on G1 prevents the sub from escaping and I like the CR more as a blocker, than in the North Sea.

I also had a rule question - Is SZ65, the Pacific Ocean square next to Peru, considered to be part of the Pacific map for global? It ended up not mattering since SZ51 works even better for my plans.

I’m in the basement so I looked at the manuals instead of the gameboard, but 65 is actually clearly on the Europe map, and therefore the USA is not allowed to end there because it does not border a US controlled territory.
