@leemorrison You’re being polite. Yes I got my bomber and some air shot down during the first two turns but I overextended very badly with Japan, mostly because I underestimated the value the tanks would give you in terms of exploiting openings in my positions.

…the Fortune Cards favoring the Allies. Even by round 5 the Allies control two cities, but, the Germans are pounding away, to hold St. Lo (with a 3:1 reinforcement ratio, in favor of Germany). Even thought the fortune cards help the Allies move and fight better than average, losses have been heavy. By end of round 6, the third city is taken, and, held for the Allies by the end of round 7. Victory for the Allies was the low reinforcements the Ge. got , and, the bulk of Ge. combine arms, that never saw combat. Thanks, Pellulo

I had lucky results in China J1, and again against the Japanese battleships and loaded carrier off French Indo China

The Japanese fleet was more important than normal because only one factory was built

@Martin Yes the “miss” on my part was using Japan’s bomber offensively when it could have at least NCM’d from Manchuria -> Germany to give one more HP to the units there. That might have made some level of difference in the final fight but in hindsight, once the UK air got as many kills as it did it was unlikely that Germany was going to survive.
