Just an update on the Support Drive. For various reasons, including slightly lower expenses, I’m not pushing it for 2020. However, 2021 will not be like that so expect an in your face support drive in early January.
It will probably be February/March before I get them hammered out completely (I’m currently arguing about them in the House Rules forum as we speak) but I have a full up set of rules I could send you now. I suspect you would prefer one clean set of rules, so unless you tell me otherwise I’ll send you an email in early March with the full up set of house rules for you to read, play, and react to. As I’ve said before, I never claimed to be the second coming of either Larry Harris or Max Michael. Just somebody who found something to tinker with a long time ago.

Send me one version in March after all modifications have been made… Cheers.
Will do. Just the idea of this coming to pass has me grinning from ear to ear.

Young Grasshopper,
I plan to finish stitching the rules back together this weekend and sending you a copy Sunday night. My $50 is still ready if you’re still up for this.
As 2014 is the 100th Ann of WW1…Â And we now have AA1914…Â Â why not do the Mark I tank from the game?
Excellent idea. It’s in keeping with the established pattern of using tanks that have been represented by sculpts in official A&A games, and it would mark the centennial anniversary of the start of what’s been called the defining event of the 20th century.
Best game for two players is 1942, by far. There are not too many controlling powers in this game, 3 allies, and 2 axis, creating shorter rounds, and overall, shorter playing time. It is especially good if you are just learning how to play, yet you want to get a good feel for Axis and Allies. It also is probably the easiest to play for two players, not including 1941, just because I feel that is too easy. Hope this helps!
Okay, I think we can nail down the exact release date of the original NOVA Axis and Allies edition to July 3, 1981, as it debuted at the Origins Game Fair in 1981 and the dates for the Origins Game Fair can be found here:
