Finland In Axis & Allies Stalingrad?
-
Is the yellow color Finland??
Look at the top left corner…
-
@FranceNeedsMorePower elements of either the Italian 8th Army or Romanian 3rd or 4th.
-
Romanian.
-
The yellow is supposed to match the Romanian flag color.

Nice. Those will make for some good house rule pieces in Global 1940.
-
@SuperbattleshipYamato Finland didn’t fight in Stalingrad, the map doesn’t even include Baku, which was the Objective of the 1942 Campaign.
-
@Imperious-Leader @AndrewAAGamer @SuperbattleshipYamato @Witt So is the yellow a playable country or is it like the French in north africa? Or is it unknown?
-
It is considered a minor German Unit. It plays and is controlled with the German units.
-
@AndrewAAGamer Could you explain more I don’t know any of the rules yet.
-
@AndrewAAGamer Is a rulebook out there yet?
-
As a Playtester I am under an NDA. I don’t think answering this question would be out of bounds, however, just to make sure, I am going to tag @Matt-Hyra and let him answer the question.

I feel these are Romanians and or Italians, which held the shoulders of the front line around the flanks of Stalingrad. They were decimated. Hungarians fought quite well and held their own. on a D8 i rate them as a whole weaker than Infantry and cheaper. In this game they are probably the Free French units in AA Afrika meaning cannon fodder for the axis. Hitler employed them for this reason, which is no difference than how Putin brings North Korean green troops for that same purpose. History does repeat itself it seems…
-
@AndrewAAGamer @Matt-Hyra No problem if so could you send a pdf. And, if you can answer this question please do, is the game good?
-
@FranceNeedsMorePower said in Finland In Axis & Allies Stalingrad?:
@AndrewAAGamer Is a rulebook out there yet?
Rulebook won’t be posted for a few months.
The yellow matches that of the Romanian flag, but is meant to include Italy and Hungary as well. -
@Matt-Hyra thank you very much for clarifying that.
We all here appreciate what you are doing for our addiction to A&A. -
@Matt-Hyra Thank you for the clarification! Are there other yellow units besides infantry or is that not allowed to be talked about?
-
@FranceNeedsMorePower Just infantry and artillery for the Minor Axis.
-
@Matt-Hyra good to know. Thanks .
-
@Matt-Hyra Got it, thanks!

@AndrewAAGamer You said you were a play tester. How do you become one? Could you give me some information on how to try to be one.
