I don’t really like this scramble to land idea.

Not sure why you think that. Attacking units may consist of fighters, as escorts only, tactical bombers, if an airfield or naval harbor is available, and strategic bombers. Defenders may only consist of fighters. All planes attack and defend at 1.
I rarely do bombing so did something make you think that?
@AndrewAAGamer That was my thought, but when I was about to roll to attack, the game set up the attack board for the air assault and put my 1 ftr on at “1” attack and your 4 ftrs at “1” defense. My 3 bombers and 1 tac were placed the left in the “blank” or presumably zero category. Having not conducted a bombing raid in OOB, I was left with the impression that my aircraft were like transports in the air battle–just along for the ride, and possibly taking hits.
Ahhh - I do see that in this test. Yet, when I proceeded with the attack it did roll six dice. Weird…
Hmmm, unless all the planes are in the 1 zone and it just looks funny.
Nope - look these carriers are in the exact same spot and they are attacking at zero.
@AndrewAAGamer Yep. Bad UI. It doesn’t really matter the Germans are completely contained. I just wanted to take a chance to shut down Russia for a bit since I could send 5 aircraft vs 4.
