    @max334 I am bringing this up as it might be relevant to your turn. The Pacific rulebook states:

    The United States begins the game at war with no one. In addition to the normal restrictions (see “Powers Not at War with One Another,” page 15), while it’s not at war with Japan, the United States may not move any units into or through China or end the movement of its sea units in sea zones that are adjacent to Japan-controlled territories.

    I’m not sure if I’m interpreting this correctly so I’m bringing it up. Since USA does not go to war until the end of its turn, I would assume this means you will have to move your fleet out of 50&55.

    If you disagree with this interpretation, I can see if Krieghund, Gamerman, Adam514 or one of the other encyclopedias around here can give us a definitive answer :)

    I would disagre bc it says the US can not ‘end’ its turn in a Japanese controled sea zone. Those there now should not be forced to move, but pls check

    @max334 Yup no worries. Gamerman is the moderator so it would be up to him to make a final decision. I’d be happy to have him pop in and make a decision one way or the other if you want! This is a pretty niche scenario that likely doesn’t come up too often.

    Adam posted a little bit after this that even the sea zones that touch both US & Japanese bases on round 1 have to be vacated by the US.
